Bath & Body Works Detergent Haul + Mom Boss Lunch & Suya Surprise 🍽️

Welcome back to Happy Gorgeous Life — where transformation meets everyday glam, mom-life meets self-care, and now we’re diving into one of my funnest little hauls ever. Today I headed to Bath & Body Works to try something I’ve been dying to test: their detergents (yes, you heard right!). I grabbed six dreamy scents: Champagne Toast, Lavender Vanilla, Cozy Cashmere, Coconut Linen, Amber Blush, and Pineapple Mango. I’ll show you what the store looked like (hint: Christmas scents are already out — holiday plugs and all!).
Then, after my shopping spree, I came home and cooked up a lunch that felt like a mini celebration: fried plantains + jollof rice + teriyaki salmon (mom-approved and delicious!). I also snacked on purple prickly pears (so sweet!) and shared my first-time thoughts. And guess what — the next evening I went out to dinner at Traveler’s Table and found Nigerian suya on the menu (not overly spicy, but still sooo tasty).
