INGREDIENTS:
• 3 cups of diced stale bread (about 200 grams)
• 1 cup full fat milk
• ½ cup pouring cream
• 2 pieces overripe bananas
• 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
• pinch of fine salt
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• ¼ cup melted butter
• 3 extra large eggs, beaten
Caramel
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
NOTES:
1.) BANANA – Overripe bananas are the best!
2.) SUGAR – Adjust accordingly depending on the type of bread and the ripeness of bananas that you will be using
3.) BAKING – In a preheated oven, 160 °C fan assisted oven for 55-60 minutes* 😊 *Keep an eye and check after the 50 minute mark
4.) STORING & SERVING – Keep in an airtight container and they are best eaten the following day!😊
