Most Disappointing Model Kit of the Year: 1/32 Border Models Avro Lancaster

Ergh!
My favourite kit on my wishlist and they have to engineer specifically for wheels down only (or if you're game, landing or takeoff "inflight") - what a disappointment - but not unexpected given that almost all "aircraft" (sic) kits are engineered this way today.
Here's my unboxing and you can hear the excitement dwindle and the disappointment rising towards the end.

I know its not for most of you, but this kit - while detailed brilliantly and above and beyond what you can get elsewhere - needs a lot of work for me!
