Today on Rebel Then King, we talk about the game that got me started on the road to fantasy wargaming - Battle Masters! This truly epic 1992 board game is the single most immersive experience I have ever had the pleasure of playing. It's a great intro to general strategies that can be applied to its bigger brother, Warhammer (and of course Warhammer 40k), as well as Pathfinder or Dungeons and Dragons. In fact, I'm pretty sure that when I'm playing Pathfinder 2e I'm just trying to recreate the glory of this game.
In this video we take a look at the battle map, the pieces, the dice, the terrain, and the cards, talking about the strengths and weaknesses of various units in the Chaos and Imperial army.
