Literacy in Community is an early childhood literacy nonprofit aimed at addressing the literacy crisis in NYC by instilling a love for reading in children before they can even speak.
Their annual Diversity Through Literacy Campaign recognizes the power of children's literature to celebrate diversity in all forms by sharing many voices, embracing unique perspectives and honoring different cultures. LINC is holding its next event on April 24th at Niño de la Caridad, located at 2467 Bathgate Ave. in the Bronx at 11:30 a.m.
