As I make my way along the Joyous Soulquarium Inner Prize Journey I find myself in the middle of the Mission in San Francisco for 2012 Carnaval with the funkiest Samba group in all the land....SAMBAFUNK. I wore a GoPro in my Afro wig and captured our entire 2 hour procession thru the streets of San Francisco. My favorite part of this video is dancing with King Theo in front of the Carnaval Judges (@2m:40sec in the footage) as we paraded past them in a super funkdefied fired up frenzy...WARNING: some of the footage is very bumpy but thats what you get when you got a GoPRO in your AFRO! Yellow orange purple and silver busting thru the streets, playing our beats and stomping our feets. (Check out the Cumbia Section at 6m:25sec) This is one stop along the journey to filming a SambaFunk documentary which will be released late 2012.
