Screen recording from an editing session in my custom tool for point cloud animation, Post-Pointillism.
Scans and point clouds have become a daily practice for me since 2023. I capture small fragments of places, then sort them and experiment with their visual language and look.
LiDAR point cloud scan captured at Alma Beach, Tel Aviv, in 2024.
A sunset scene reduced to chairs, sand and a few rocks. The sea becomes a grid, the objects stay as a quiet resonance inside the cloud.
Recorded in real time, playback speed increased 10×.
