Bidding Farewell to a Friend in Srinagar
We traveled from Chandigarh to Srinagar to drop off our dear friend who's been posted to the Army station there.we stayed one night at Jammu near raghunath temple and there was a heavy rainfall there,next day we start our journey to Srinagar Witnessing the stunning landscapes of Kashmir was bittersweet, as I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness seeing the impact of construction and development on the mountains.
The beauty of Srinagar is undeniable, but the environmental cost of progress weighs heavily on my heart. As we face increasing floods and landslides, it's essential to acknowledge the delicate balance between development and nature. Then we visited dal Lake and had a small ride and I became shikarawala for sometime.
