This is a look back at the Pemi Bluegrass Festival that I photographed for Craig Engel and Steve Abdu from 2016 through 2018. Unfortunately, the festival couldn’t continue, as years of bad weather took a huge financial toll on the promoters. Despite the rain, these were amazing events featuring some of the best bluegrass performers of the time. Local bands also had the chance to play, adding to the enjoyment for attendees. Craig and Steve did an incredible job organizing this three-day event, and those of us who were lucky enough to attend will cherish the memories for a lifetime.
