Get ready to geek out over the DM Coating System! Today, we're giving you an inside look at how powder coat works during our 5-step tour of DFAB our Dump Trailer Manufacturing Plant.

Step 1: Blast - Time to get rid of all imperfections using steel shot grit! (more aggressive than sandblasting 😈)
Step 2: Wash & Force Dry - Scrub a dub 🧼 Next we get rid of all moisture to ensure a smooth application
Step 3: Prime - Enriched with zinc, our primer is built to provide long-term protection. 💥
Step 4: Topcoat - A dry-on-dry application that ensures coverage all around. 👏
Step 5: Bake - Through our force-cured oven at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes, the powder melts, encapsulating the metal and leaving a shine! 🤩
