2004 Schindler "Scenic" 500A Traction Elevators @ The FLL Cypress Garage (East)-Fort Lauderdale, FL

This is one of two banks serving the Cypress Garage at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. This garage houses the rental cars, staff parking, as well as a little public parking. Both banks of elevators here have 4 Schindler 500A Elevators that are "glass". I put glass in quotes since these used to be fully scenic, but they have since gotten their glass replaced to translucent glass, ruining the view! However, these are still very fun elevators like most 500A's are. I personally love the 500A model, and these have held up very nicely for a parking garage at an airport. This garage has a 9th floor, yet these elevators don't serve it! You'll see on the next video how people get up there.
