Guided 4k tour of Ueno station, inside and outside.
I'm trying out this new format "Station Review" on some of the larger and more interesting stations around Japan.
Locations near Ueno Station:
Ueno Park - the massive park with cherry blossoms Ueno Zoo - Japan's oldest zoo, famous for pandas Tokyo National Museum - the main national museum Ameyoko (Ameya-Yokocho) - the bustling market street under the tracks Shinobazu Pond - the large lotus pond in the park
Station Exits:
Park Gate Exit (公園口) - leads directly to Ueno Park
Shinobazu Exit (不忍口) - near Shinobazu Pond
Hirokoji Exit (広小路口) - main exit facing the street, where video starts
Asakusa Exit (浅草出口) - facing east near buses
Central Exit (中央改札口) - main central gate
Panda Bridge Exit (Iriya Gate) - bridge connecting Ueno Park with main entrance.
