New Hampshire - White Mountains, Conway, Lincoln & The Flume Gorge
The state New Hampshire is mother nature at her best. Think mountains, rivers and lots of forest. We spent a week exploring this beautiful part of America, hiking in gorges, taking chairlifts high in the mountains and tubing on lazy rivers.
Cranmore Mountain Resort
Take a relaxing seven-minute ride to the top of the mountain on Cranmore’s four-passenger summit chairlift. After reaching the top, breathe in the fresh mountain air and take in the stunning views of the surrounding Mt. Washington Valley.

Loon Mountain
Nestled in the White Mountain National Forest, this mountain resort is a hikers and mountain bikers heaven. We took the White Mountain Express Gondola up the mountain (1738 vertical feet) to the summit of Loon Peak, for some incredible mountain views.

The Flume Gorge
This was one of the best things we did in New Hampshire. Discovered in 1808, it will leave you spellbound as you stroll the path from the main walkway through the Flume Gorge and Liberty Gorge. The Flume is a natural granite gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. You'll see towering moss-covered granite walls rising to a spectacular height of 90 feet, cascading waterfalls, historic covered bridges, glacial pools, glacial boulders and much more.
The Flume Gorge Trail is a one-way loop. This self-guided walk is 2 miles and takes approximately 1.5 hours. The trail is mostly packed gravel with boardwalk sections, includes moderate uphill walking and stairs within the gorge
The Flume Gorge also has a very informative Visitors Center with gift shop and a place to grab something to eat.
