Starting at Cradle Mountain in the north, the track winds its way through the mountains and valleys of central Tasmania.Autumn and winter bring snow and the brilliant golden colours of the deciduous fagus. The track finishes at Lake St Clair a glacier deepened lake in the southern part of the Central Plateau.
