DJ GIG LOG: ONLY ONE HOUR TO DANCE AT THIS PROM

At this prom we had only one hour to dance, making it a crazy challenge to hook them in for the entire rest of the night, since they could leave at ANY TIME! I’m used to building a night naturally, but this time, it was full send from the start. No warm-up, no slow parts— just straight into high energy and the Columbia Seniors Brought That! The second dinner ended in the other room, I had to flip the vibe instantly and bring the heat.

In this gig log, I show how I approached a one-hour prom set, what tracks kept the energy peaking, and how the Columbia seniors made every second count. This one was a sprint, not a marathon.
