On Saturday, 16th August 2025, DownsSteam Toowoomba ran its inaugural steam train out of Toowoomba Railway Station to Drayton for passengers to explore the sights and sounds of what was on offer at their base of operations.
Steam locomotive BB18 ¼ 1037 "Peter Ford" hauled 2 sold-out return shuttles, consisting of 4 stainless steel "SX" carriages and made light work of its train.
This video is a compilation of both shuttles put together to represent a full trip.
