Some of the best low light houseplants are Haworthia, and although choosing a houseplant for low light can be tricky, some are simply better than others.
Today we look at a group of succulents that thrive in low light. 70% shade, no direct sunlight and they still look amazing.
We are talking about Haworthia which are an easy care succulent and in this video the plant is Haworthia Cooper OB1. And we are told that really it should be "Obi-Wan" as in "Obi-Wan-Kenobi", so when it comes to plant names "May the Force Be with You".
Its easy care because it only needs watering every 2 weeks, and can last 4 weeks plus without watering. You only need to repot it every 3 years. Fertilise it once a year, ir does not need pruning and grown correctly has very few problems.
It Japan these are called Crystal plants because the leaves are semi transparent, the light shines through them and they glow in a luminescent way. They make a real feature indoors, especially in the right pot.
