A person in cardiac arrest needs immediate CPR ( Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) Its an very important life saving procedure to save life of human beings . Everyone should know about the basic steps of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR for the Adults and Pediatric .
here we are giving a Detailed Explanation about How to perform CPR in ABCD method
A-Airway
B- Breathing
C-Circulation
D-Defibrillation
CPR Procedure :

Check the scene for safety. Check the victim for Responsiveness. Gently tap the shoulder and shout.

If there is No Response

Immediately Call For Help

If the Victim is on his or her stomach, turn the person over onto his or her back. The person should be lying on a hard flat safe surface.

Check for Breathing and Signs of Life

Watch the chest for any Respiratory movement. Look for signs of life and breathing for no more than 10 seconds.

If There is No Breathing or Signs of Life

Start with Chest Compression

1. Position the heel of one hand on the center of the adult’s chest. Place your other hand on top.

2. With your elbows locked and arms straight, lean over the adult and compress the chest 2 - 2.5 Inches in depth 30 times.

3. After 30 compression, give breaths by tilting the head back, lifting the chin and pinching the nose. Give two slow and gentle breaths. The chest should rise with each breath. see the effectiveness of Breathing

4. Continue with 30 compression and two breaths.
5. Perform AED if available with you

Continue CPR until another rescuer takes over, you see signs of life or help arrives.
