How to Wash Your Locs (Effectively) + DIY Natural Loc Shampoo

I’m Lo, I’m a loctician based in Richmond, VA.
I’m also a natural Loc’d Empress, Est. 2016.

Today I’ve just shown you guys how I wash my locs every 4 weeks, and I give you some good tips you can use to wash your locs so they’re thoroughly clean and rid of build up and bad odors.
I also include my All Natural Black Soap Shampoo Recipe and below are the ingredients, and all of these items are typically available at a local beauty supply store. But you can likely order from amazon if that’s more convenient.
For a 8 oz bottle of Shampoo:
2/3 cup Liquid African Black Soap (or use a bar and shred 1/3 cup worth and let it melt in hot water to liquify it)
2/3 cup Peppermint Castille Soap
1 ml (2-3 drops) Tea Tree Essential Oil
1 ml (2-3 drops) Sweet Orange Essential Oil
1 ml (2-3 drops) Euclalyptus Essential Oil
8 oz applicator bottle
