A terrifying journey in the storm for Akram and her sons

Today, Akram is having an exceptionally busy day. From the early hours of the morning, she heads out with her children to take the goats to their daily grazing. The cool morning breeze and the energy of the kids encourage her to keep going, even though she knows a long day lies ahead. They walk slowly along the dusty path, making sure the herd spreads out well and feeds properly. Once the goats are settled, Akram and the children turn to another task: gathering firewood. They collect the dry fallen branches and stack them to store for the colder days. The work is hard, but the children’s cooperation makes it easier and more enjoyable. Akram has also brought several small bags of acorns with her; today she plans to plant a generous amount of oak seeds, hoping that the coming rains will help them sprout into young trees that will one day bring shade and blessing to their land. Around noon, when the sun reaches its highest point, they return to the farm. Fatigue shows on their faces, but the moment they step into the yard, everything changes. Doora Grandma has come to visit, greeting them with her warm smile and gentle embrace. Her presence drives away their tiredness and fills the home with comfort and affection. Akram’s busy day takes on a brighter tone as she finally gets a moment to rest and enjoy the warmth of family companionship.
