Operation of LaRue RISR w/ stock in fully-closed position

The RISR will operate with the stock fully-closed (will cycle ammunition on both 7.62 and 5.56 platforms). But, while in this position, the bolt carrier will need to be released using the bolt catch (good practice anyway).

While in all other positions, the bolt carrier can be released by pulling the charging handle all the way to the rear.

The LaRue RISR is a spring-loaded cheek riser that travels to the rear as the charging handle on an AR platform rifle is moved to the rear. When the charging handle is released, the RISR snaps forward.

This unique accessory allows users to operate an AR-platform rifle with cheek riser on a collapsible stock, in positions other than fully-extended.

The RISR is designed to fit Magpul CTR and MOE collapsible stocks.
