I wrote this at home, during quarantine, while I watched my senior year of high school end with no warning. I’m trying to stay positive and write through it but it’s hard knowing that prom, class day and probably graduation are gone.
We never knew when we left school on Friday, March 13th, that it would be the last time we’d ever step foot in school again as students. No goodbyes, no celebration, nothing.
Hoping the song helps celebrate the good parts about staying home.
