How to Loom Knit the Polar Hat (DIY Tutorial)

This step-by-step tutorial shows you how to knit what I named the Polar Hat, a chunky, comfy, warm and elastic hat.

LOOM: The loom I use in this project is a 41-peg XL gauge round loom, because I wanted to make an adult-size hat. If you want to make a preemie or newborn hat, I suggest you to use the 24-peg round loom. If you want to make a baby hat, then you better use the 31-peg loom. And use the 36-peg loom for children and teenagers.

YARN: The yarn used for this pattern was a bulky weight yarn (size #6) called Katia Canada and Katia Antártida.
If your thread is thinner than this (a medium weight yarn), it is recommended to use 2 strands at the same time.
