Planning a Trek from Sandakphu to Phalut? Here’s What You Need to Know:
We visited in the first week of November, so the weather was cold—be sure to bring warm layers and winter clothing.
Our journey began in Maney Bhanjyang. To get there, we took a taxi from Ghoom to Maney Bhanjyang where you’ll need to submit your documents. This is also the point where you can hire a guide and arrange for a cab to drop you off at the trek’s starting point.
Upon reaching Sandakphu, we headed out in the evening to catch the sunset, just 1 km from our hotel ( hotel sunrise )
The following morning, we watched the sunrise and began our trek to Phalut around 7:30 a.m.
