Caregiver Ratio | Aging Matters | NPT Reports

The ratio of potential caregivers to care recipients will change dramatically over the next 20 years. Currently there are seven potential caregivers to one care recipient. Over the next two decades, there will be only three caregivers to each recipient. Gail Gibson Hunt, President and CEO of the National Caregiving Alliance, suggests policies will need to change to meet greater demands for caregiving down the road.
