4 aircraft of the D-DAY Squadron arrive at Old Warden airfield for the upcoming D-DAY 80 Commemorations and there 2024 Tour of the UK and Europe.
Starting from Oxford Connecticut USA The Squadron took 6 days flew nearly 3,000 nautical miles, approximately 18 hours of flight time, 36 gallons of oil, more than 1,600 gallons of fuel and 80+ crew to make this historic transatlantic crossing.
