BACHMANN N Scale TGV EBay Haul Attempt #2 Will It Work?

The first N Scale train I bought was defective (this was known at time of purchase - I attempted to fix). In the mean time I bought a second. Within minutes - it stopped working but was I able to get it running again? The Bachmann Trains N Scale TGV (French High Speed Passenger Train) was one I had as a teenager but sold on eBay about 15 years ago. No at last - I have it again.
