Jay Peak, Vermont just got 60+ inches of snow in five days — in November 2025 — and we were lucky enough to be there for it. These are the best backcountry lines of the day, and the Jay Cloud absolutely delivered.
This was my first real backcountry mission with a hike-to line and my first time filming with an action camera on my helmet. Skye and I had one of the coolest experiences of our lives, and if you’ve never chased an East Coast powder day like this… you should.
People always say skiing and riding out West is better — but this storm might be proof that the East Coast can compete. Right now Jay Peak is one of the deepest places in the country, while Colorado is having one of its worst early seasons ever. Pretty wild that this type of snow is so close to New Jersey.
