This stage is basically the same as other versions. Hideyoshi plays as a really fast character with long reach, but weak attacks. This makes him really good on groups and officers, however officers that don't flinch like Tadakatsu and Keiji in hyper mode can absolutely wreak him and his small defense. His specials can make enemies drop gold, which I never waste time using, or hit them with a debuff that lowers their defense and increases their attack. The latter is extremely useful, but risky.
