British market access with UKCA mark | TÜV Rheinland expert interview

We will tell you how you can obtain the UKCA mark to place your products smoothly in the UK market.

You are selling products to the UK market or plan to do so? Now that United Kingdom has left the EU the UKCA mark is mandatory for the export and sale of products on the UK market. Currently the UKCA scheme very closely resembles the CE scheme, so in almost all cases wherever you are required to affix a CE mark for the EU market you will be required to affix a UKCA mark for the British market. As approved body we from TÜV Rheinland are able to carry out UKCA certification for manufacturers of safety products in accordance with Annex IV of the Machinery Directive. If your products may have an EC type examination certificate issued by TÜV Rheinland, then to obtain a ‘UKCA Mark’ you only need to send us the following details:
a type plate
a packaging label
a UK Declaration of Conformity and
the product manual which fulfills the UKCA Mark requirements .
