The Rota Vicentina is a 270km trail in Portugal, that was inaugurated in 2012.
At some point, you have two options:
you can either go inland and follow the Historical Way, or follow the coast on the Fisherman's trail.
Technically this trail can be walked all year round, but summer is way too hot, and the best time would be spring and autumn.
From March till early June in spring, and september to november in autum.
