On the evening of Saturday 20th May 2023, The 'Lake Lander' excursion (operated by Saphos Trains with motive power and coaching stock supplied by Locomotive Services Limited) was making a return run from Carlisle via the Cumbrian Coast route. LMS Black Five 45231 was on the last stretch of its run to Carnforth, crossing the famed viaduct at Arnside before being swapped for diesel traction at Carnforth.
This short video (and partial photo montage) shows the train making its crossing over the mouth of the River Kent at Arnside, 45231's light engine move through Hest Bank on her way back to Crewe, and BR diesels 47805 and 47614 taking the tour back to Leeds via Preston.
