Specifically designed to add depth, power and headroom to the MicroMain45 nearfield reference monitor, the MicroSub45 houses a pair of opposing 8-inch Dual-Force™ technology woofers that deliver clean low-frequency extension down to 25 Hz. As an added benefit, because each MicroSub45 generates 500W of power and its analog high-pass filter crosses over from the MicroMain45 at 80 Hz, it also increases the headroom of your entire system.

The MicroMain45 combines the same signal path, amplifier and driver technologies as our flagship MiniMain12 and has become a firm favorite with many engineers and musicians. But for Barefoot Sound to create a compact and affordable package while still delivering the company’s renowned resolution and translation the MicroMain45 is the only 3-way reference monitor in the product line that does not include Dual-Force technology. Now, with the addition of the MicroSub45 subwoofers offers current MicroMain45 users and prospective owners an upgrade path.
