In our continuing trial of Barley Fodder Mat production as an alternative livestock feed for our herd of alpacas, we've installed the next phase of the growing system: the flood and drain trays. Phase 1 was our proof of concept using seedling propagation trays, and you can read more about that on our blog: http://pacapride.wordpress.com/2012/0...
Phase 2 of our trials now upgrades our approach to trays more suitable for producing a barely fodder mat. This is a video that gives a quick tour of the new system we are trialing.
