On our way there, we caught a beautiful glimpse of a fisherman casting his net into the lake — a perfect start to our local culinary adventure. Once we arrived, we sipped on some freshly tapped toddy straight from the coconut palm. And then came the real treat — a spread of delicious toddy shop specialties like soft kappa, tender kozha, rich fish head curry, crispy prawns fry, crab roast, and so much more. A true feast of authentic Kerala flavors!
