Big shots Camp in Dokolo to comb votes
FDC Party candidate for Dokolo district by-election also the late Cecilia Ogwal’s daughter Rosemary
Alwoc Ogwal today campaigned in two subcounties of Dokolo ahead of the forthcoming election on 21 st
of this month.
Seven candidates are in the race to replace the late Cecilia Ogwal who circummbed to cancer in January
this year.

As the clock ticks towards the voting day in Dokolo District different candidates are traversing the
district to canvas for votes.

Ogwal.
Speaking in Bata town council today FDC party president Patrick Amuriat Oboi asked the people of
Dokolo to vote Alwoc for her mother’s likeness.

Dr Rosemary Alwoc Ogwal says her bid is to continue with mother’s.projects including protection of
people’s land, contributing to empowerment programs and developing the tourism site at Kangai where
Kabaka Mwanga and Kabalega were arrested in 1899

Alwoc received warm welcome in the rallies in which she was accompanied by party leaders and mps.
Seven candidates are in the race to replace the late Cecilia Ogwal.
UPC has fronted Sarah Aguti Nyangkori, while NRM has Janet Rose Adongo and NUP has Harriet Ageno.
Others running independently include Dr Lalam Grace, Esther Akullo and Rebecca Arao.
Campaigns ends on Tuesday and the by-election will be held on 21 st of this month.-Ends-
