6Lb TITANIUM LEADER
Over the course of last season I mainly concentrated on UL and BFS lure fishing. Mainly i was targeting perch and chub, however it was rare if a pike didn't turn in the mix.
I was lucky enough to land the vast majority of the pike due to the added abrasion resistance of fluorocarbon, however a had several bite offs due to pike.
I was put onto Nitinol (titanium wire) by members of LAS as a good bite proof leader material ..... that comes in 6lb and 12lb, perfect for knotting.
Its bite proof, thin in diameter, flexible and doesn't kink like convensional wire leader, which means you can use it over and over again.
