She worked as a lecturer in the Department of Language and Linguistics at Egerton University , and succeeded her sister Lorna Laboso who died in a plane crash to represent Sotik Constituency.
Dr. Joyce Cherono Laboso made history by being the First Female Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly. She spoke to NTV's Jane Ngoiri and says the gloves are off ,campaigns on as she focuses on the Bomet Gubernatorial seat.
