Snakehead Fryball Popping in Blackwater: Not What It Once Was? Snakehead Tournament Fishing

Blackwater Wildlife Refuge is one of the most beautiful places on earth, especially on a windless morning sunrise.

In this video, I'm chasing Snakehead for the East Coast Snakehead Fishing Trail Series. I find a good number of fry balls as I always have, but the size of the fish is not what I expected, nor does it match my years of previous experience on these waters.

My thought is that increasing fishing pressure (bow and rod and reel) has reduced the overall Snakehead population in these waters, as well as reducing the average size of the Snakehead there. What do you think?
