First of all, I want us all to show our appreciation for one of the four greatest old Call of Duty games of all time, the first Black Ops. I am amazed by how decent it looks even by today's standards, and after playing some multiplayer games after years, I can tell you that this game's success wasn't a fluke. This game's multiplayer really worked. They (even maybe unknowingly) got a recipe for a multyplayer game at least that really worked and still works gameplay-wise. The movement, the weapons, the graphics, the TTK—everything works perfectly and could be copy-pasted into a Call of Duty that would work even today, with today's graphics, of course. So thank you, Activision and Treyarch, for this amazing Call of Duty game that is part of those that "started it all," I can say.
Now, in this video, I compare weapons from the first *Call of Duty: Black Ops*, released in 2010 and the successor to the very successful *World at War*, developed by Treyarch for Activision, with the game released 10 years later in 2020, *Cold War*. Both take place in similar historical periods. I compare the weapons' appearance, firing sound, reload animation, firing animation both from the hip and aiming down the sights.
