This is how I clean and maintain my Recteq Bullseye. Also some cooking tips for even heating.
This is my personal way of doing it that has lasted almost 3 years with basically no issues. The longer you go without cleaning, the greater the chance at a backdraft, temp swings and/or a smothered fire.
