This video explains the concepts of "Present Value" and "Future Value" in a one-period setting. I show how present value and future value are related to each other, and also how students can use present value and future value calculations to make sound financial decisions.
ABOUT ME:
My name is Atif Ikram. I am a Clinical Professor of Finance at Arizona State University (W.P. Carey School of Business) where I teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in corporate finance, personal finance and real estate. I have also taught various courses in economics, corporate finance and investments and Rutgers University, Wayne State University and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). I have a Masters degree in Economics from LUMS, and a PhD degree in Finance from ASU.
