Days 7-9 Novena
PATRONAGE: Ireland, associated with hope and consolation during times of suffering

O Most Holy Virgin Mary, you appeared to the villagers of Knock, accompanied by your most chaste spouse St. Joseph, and St. John the Apostle. You also appeared with a lamb before an altar, surrounded by angels. You spoke no words, yet your silence speaks to your powerful intercession for us. Hear our prayers and intercede for us, that as we pray this novena, we may be moved to conversion and repentance, filled with a greater love for your Son, Jesus Christ.

DAY 7 PRAYER:
Our Lady of Knock, thank you for appearing to the villagers in Knock. Pray for us that we may say “yes” to God and surrender ourselves to God with complete and total trust, as you did.

Lord Jesus, we thank you for the gift of faith and for giving us your mother as our Blessed Mother. Help us to become closer to you through Mary and emulate her faith and self-surrender to God each day. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Knock, please hear and answer our prayers.

Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland, you gave hope to your people in a time of distress and comforted them in sorrow. You have inspired countless pilgrims to pray with confidence to your divine Son, remembering His promise, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find.”
Help me to remember that we are all pilgrims on the road to Heaven. Fill me with love and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those who live with me. Comfort me when I am sick, lonely or depressed. Teach me how to take part ever more reverently in the Holy Mass. Give me a greater love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Pray for me now and at the end of my death. Amen.

Our Lady of Knock, thank you for appearing to the villagers in Knock. Pray for us that we will depend on your intercession. Help us to turn to you as our Blessed Mother often and give us a deep devotion to the Holy Rosary.

DAY 9
Our Lady of Knock, we thank you for appearing to the villagers in Knock, and for the healings that have taken place through your intercession at that holy site. Your apparition has brought hope to millions of pilgrims and millions of the faithful devoted to you. Please pray for us, that we may always hope in Christ even in suffering and difficult situations.
