When I was a kid, whenever I drove in the car with my dad we listened to his mixtapes full of The Beatles, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Simon & Garfunkel, Dire Straits, The Cranberries (to name the most frequent ones) - but one song (and artist) was on absolutely every tape, in its different versions. That song was "Hey hey my my" by Neil Young (and Crazy Horse), and I already loved it then. Decades later I still do - and the lyrics are more important than ever. Since the rock-scene gets thinner and thinner, we do ask ourselves "does rock'n'roll really never die?" I still think it won't - EVER. And neither will this song.
