Carving project

the wood used in this carving project is from the Douglas fir tree. I have to say I can't recommend this wood for carving. Although the wood is relatively soft, the grain is uneven, and the wood feels sticky. However, it smells great!!

the shape of this Fox is not my design, I got the idea from a carving I saw made by the Swiss woodworker Antonio Vitali.
