Demystifying Ball Spin & Swerve - Part Two

This is the second of two "Demystifying Spin and Swerve" billiards videos. This Part Two deals with the sidespin imparted to the cue ball by a non-level cue stroke, which also causes the ball to curve, called swerve or massé. Swerve affects most pool shots, so it must be understood. The causes of this swerve curve are examined. Techniques for predicting the path of a swerve shot are given, including the Coriolis method. Swerve and massé shots can be very useful, but are also difficult to execute successfully.
