Why 1914 is the Achilles Heel for Jehovah's Witnesses

Christians believe that one day, Jesus Christ will return to Earth physically, visibly, and gloriously. However, Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe that. Instead, they teach that Jesus already returned in an invisible sense in 1914. They also teach that shortly after returning, Jesus rejected all denominations of Christianity and chose the Watchtower to be his official representative on Earth. Are they correct?
