7029 ‘Clun Castle’ and 5043 ‘Earl of Mount Edgcumbe’ attacked the Devon ramps on 27th September 2024. They travelled from Bristol to Plymouth with twelve passenger coaches and no diesel locomotive on the back. With a total of 8 cylinders, the Castle Class locomotives had no difficulty in climbing the banks, especially quickly.
The video were taken at Whiteball, Tigley Bank, Hemerdon Bank and Stoke Canon.

Ein Flugzeug? Nein! 8 Zylinder auf rasanter Rampenfahrt (4K)
7029 "Clun Castle" und 5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe" attackierten am 27. September die Rampen Devons. Von Bristol ging es mit zwölf Reisezugwagen und ohne Schiebelok nach Plymouth. Mit insgesamt 8 Zylindern hatten die Lokomotiven der Castle Class keine Schwierigkeiten die Rampen vorallem schnell zu erklimmen.
Die Aufnahmen entstanden in Whiteball, Tigley Bank, Hemerdon Bank and Stoke Canon.
