Earthworks in road projects (LCPC 1999)

The first video in the LCPC and SETRA ‘Terrassements’ series. It is aimed at training managers at all levels, or those with little experience in the field. The aim is to highlight the important points that influence the design of projects and the quality of their execution. Particular emphasis is placed on: the need for progression in the development of a study, the importance, at this stage, of geological, hydrological and topographical investigations to detect hard points, the need to study several construction scenarios, etc.
