Luthern is a village in the district of Willisau in the canton of Lucerne. It is nestled in a sunny valley, surrounded by green hills and woodland.
In Luthern the stately houses are lined up around the lime tree on the village square. The village centre with the rococo parish church of St. Ulrich and the surrounding houses - vicarage, parish hall and tithe storehouse - form a beautiful village scene. The Gasthof Sonne completes the idyll. The buildings are all listed as historical monuments.
